Individual therapy is $175 per session, unless you are using insurance. Couples therapy is $200 per session. Please send an email to learn more and discuss sliding scale and insurance reimbursement options.

We are currently in network with some UnitedHealthCare plans and out-of-network with all other insurance plans. A monthly billing statement can be provided upon request for clients wising to submit out-of-network claims on their own. Please send an inquiry to learn more.

No, all services are virtual at this time.

Sessions can vary based on each individual, but typically range from 45-55 minutes long, with clients meeting from weekly, every other week, to monthly depending on their desired goals.

Things discussed in therapy are strictly confidential, except during specific situations, including but not limited to the following:

  • the risk of imminent harm to the client or others
  • mandatory report of abuse or neglect of children, elderly individuals, or dependent adults
  • court orders
  • legal proceedings

Limits of confidentiality must be explained in detail to you before you consent to services.

Therapy can help you based on your unique goals, even if that's "I just want to feel better". Your therapist will work with you to tailor your treatment based on what you're looking for. That can mean having a safe, nonjudgmental space to share your thoughts and feelings, learning tools to manage difficult or overwhelming emotions, practicing skills to set boundaries and navigate conflict, and more. The goal of therapy is to welcome you and walk alongside you on your healing journey, no matter what that looks like.

I use a variety of modalities depending on the client, our therapeutic relationship, and the nature of each session. Some of the evidence-based techniques I use are informed by CBT, DBT, SFT, ACT, and IFS.

My primary goal is to make sure you feel supported and understood in our therapeutic relationship, and that I am approaching you with consistent respect, curiosity, and compassion.

The No Surprises Act was passed in 2022 to protect clients who are uninsured or using self pay. You have the right to receive a "Good Faith Estimate" explaining how much services will cost before your services are rendered. If you are interested in receiving this, send an email to sabiha@waterlilycounseling.com.
